If you're looking for a beautiful nonalcoholic drink to serve at your next get-together, this citrus hibiscus drink is definitely for you. So, grab some cute glassware, some crushed ice, and let's get into this easy recipe.

    Ingredients

This drink brings together a refreshing flavor with a hint of sweetness from the hibiscus tea. From the tangy citrus to the fragrant hibiscus let's take a look at what you'll need:

ingredients for making citrus hibiscus drink.
    • Hibiscus tea
    • Orange juice
    • Juice of a freshly squeezed lemon
    • Juice of a freshly squeezed lime
    • Juice of a freshly squeezed orange
    • Crushed ice
    • Mint leaves

    Ingredient Notes

    • Cara cara oranges were also used in this recipe although it's not shown in the photo above. When oranges are in season, juice an orange that is sweet juicy and delicious. Cara cara are my favorite. However, when oranges aren't in season, omit from this recipe.
    • In the photo above, the hibiscus tea was already steeped. Hibiscus tea bags were used.
    • Be sure to purchase quality hibiscus tea for the best flavor.
    • This recipe doesn't call for any added sugar.
    • To get the most juice out of your fresh lemons and especially limes, microwave them for at least 8-10 seconds. After microwaving them, you'll find that they will be super juicy.
    • Feel free to garnish with a slice of orange and mint leaves if you'd like.

    • Garnish with fresh mint (optional).

    Top Tips

    • Purchase a quality hibiscus tea for the best flavor.
    • It's important that the hibiscus tea is chilled before the other ingredients are added so the ice does not melt and to also give you that refreshing taste.
    • If you'd like, make the hibiscus tea the night before and chill in the fridge overnight.
    • The next day, pull out cute glassware, toss in some crushed ice, and pour in the ingredients to make this beautiful and delicious tasting drink.
